Mobile App Development

A good app does one job well for the people using it. A bad one gets deleted after a day. Before we write any code, we work out what your users actually need to do on their phones, and whether an app is the right answer at all.

We build iOS and Android apps for customers, field teams and staff, connected to the systems your business already runs on.

Who it’s for

  • Businesses that want customers to book, order or track things from their phones
  • Companies with field staff who need forms, checklists or job details on the go
  • Startups building a mobile-first product
  • Teams replacing a paper or spreadsheet process with a simple app

What we build

  • Cross-platform apps for iOS and Android from one codebase
  • Login, profiles, notifications and in-app messaging
  • Booking, ordering, tracking and payment features
  • Admin panels to manage content and users
  • Connections to your website, CRM or back-office systems
  • App Store and Google Play submission

How an app project runs

  1. Define the core. We agree on the handful of features the first version must have, and park the rest for later.
  2. Screens and flows. We map out every screen and how users move between them before development starts.
  3. Build and demo. You get test builds on your own phone at each milestone.
  4. Test and polish. We test on real devices, fix bugs and tidy up the details.
  5. Publish. We prepare the store listings and submit the app under your developer accounts.

What you receive

The app published under your Apple and Google developer accounts, the source code, the admin panel, and documentation for whoever maintains it next.

Technology

Usually React Native or Flutter, so one codebase covers both platforms, with Firebase or a custom API behind it. Native Swift or Kotlin when a project really needs it.

Cost and timeline

Apps are quoted per project once we’ve agreed on the first version’s features. Apple and Google developer account fees are paid by you directly. Your timeline is set out in the written proposal after a free scope review. See how we price projects and our payment terms.

Good to know

App store approval is decided by Apple and Google, not by us, although we follow their guidelines closely. Updates after launch are covered by a separate support plan.

Questions we often get

Do I need both iOS and Android?

Usually yes, and a cross-platform build means you don’t pay twice. If your audience is mostly on one platform, we can start there.

How long does app store review take?

It varies. Google is often quick. Apple can take longer, especially for a first submission.

Can the app work offline?

Some features can, such as saving forms and syncing later. We’ll discuss it when we plan the features.

Who owns the app?

You do, once the project is paid in full. It’s published under your accounts from day one.

Have an app idea?

Describe who will use it and the main thing they need to do. That’s enough for a first conversation.
